Dr. Roland Campion was a British expatriate living in Alexandria. He served a wide clientele beyond the British community in the city. He and his wife hosted weekly Sunday afternoon CSSM meetings for high school aged English-speaking boys, called Crusaders. Schutz boys in Jr. High and High School attended the Crusader meetings with great enthusiasm, and many in later years spoke of Dr. Campion's good influence on their faith formation.
